Module 篇1

  MODULE  2  Unit 1

  Teaching aims and demands:

  1.      Get the Ss to grasp how to tell the time.

  2.      Listen and say the new words: when, time, clock, o’clock, half, past, park, airplane, train, tired and film

  3.      Get the Ss to grasp the new sentences: What time is it? It’s 3 o’clock. It’s half past 7 Is it 8 o’clock?

  Teaching main points and difficult points:

  1. Learn to sing this song. Listen and say the new words: when, time, clock, o’clock, half, past, park, airplane, train, tired and film

  2. Get the Ss to grasp how to tell the time.

  Teaching aids:

  Tape, recorder, CD-ROM, pictures and a clock..

  Teaching procedures:

  Ⅰ. Warmer:

  1.      T and Ss greet each other.

  2.      Repeat the Alphabet Song from Module 1.

  3.      Repeat the chant from Unit 2 of Module 1..

  Ⅱ. New content.

  Activity 1. Listen and point.

  1.      Ask the children to look at the pages and to guess what they can see. Elicit as much information about the story as you can in Chinese by asking questions. For example, ask them if they can guess what Sam is asking and why. You can also point to each clock and elicit the times in Chinese. This will help them to understand the context of the story.

  2.      Play the cassette. The children listen and follow in their books. Explain that What’s the time? And What time is it? Are both alternatives and mean the same thing.

  3.       Play the cassette again. Pausing after each utterance for the children to point at the corresponding picture.

  4.       Play the cassette again. Encourage the class to point to each clock as they repeat.

  5.      Repeat this activity, asking individual students to repeat the utterances. Alternatively, divide the class into groups.

  Activity 2.Act it out.

  1.      Divide the class into four sections. Give each section a role in the conversation, either Sam, Grandpa, Num or Dad.

  2.      The whole class acts the dialogue, with each group saying the corresponding text.

  3.      The children now act out the dialogue in pairs. Remind them to point to the corresponding pictures.

  Ⅲ. Activity book:

  1.      Look at the clocks and write the numbers.

  2.      Now point, ask and answer.

  3.      Listen and draw the times on the clocks.

  第八模块

  (一)   教学内容分析

  本课出自外研社小学新标准英语(三年级起点第三册)四年级上册第八模块。在第七模块中,学生已经基本掌握运用“be going to…”表达自己或他人的计划和将要发生的事,本模块将围绕校园“sports day”为主题,展开系列教学活动,首先让学生学会用英语表达一些运动项目,通过创设情境,在情境中更加熟练地运用“be going to…”表达自己或他人的计划和将要发生的事,能运用“what are you going to do?”询问他人的计划、打算。同时通过这一课的学习,激发孩子们对体育运动的热爱之情,培养他们合理安排自己的学习和生活的良好习惯。

  (二)教学目标

  (三)教学重点难点

  b.master and use the sentence pattern:what are you going to do? i’m going to…通过本课教学,使学生能运用what are you going to do? 询问他人的计划、打算,并能用“be going to…”表达自己或他人的计划和将要发生的事。

  c. 在真实的情境中,运用what are you going to do? 询问他人的计划、打算,并能用“be going to…”表达自己或他人的计划和将要发生的事。

  (四)教学策略与教学方法

  以活动教学为主,小组合作学习。采用了直观教学法、全身反应法、情景教学法等。教学设计遵循学生的认知特点及规律,以活动教学为主线,动静结合,听说领先。遵循外语教学的层次性原则:理解层次、操练巩固层次和交际层次。在课堂教学中合理优化配置各个层次,以及教师与学生角色的必要变更,充分发挥学生的主题地位。为学生创设生动有趣的语言学习情景,在尊重学生个性发展,面向全体学生全面发展的基础上,唤醒学生的主体意识,从而调动学生的学习积极性。侧重运用情景交际和小组讨论法,使整个教学从知识的内化到外显呈现出一种动态、和谐的发展过程。运用电脑多媒体辅助教学,以活化交际情景,多感官刺激学生,充分开发和调动学生的多种智力潜能参与学习活动,从而达到学习新知、培养技能、和谐个性、启迪智慧的教育目标。

  (五)教学过程设计

  a、warming up. (热身)

  1、生词的呈现

  t: (点击cai,教师陈述自己的运动会计划,课件逐一展示老师要参加的运动项目---即本课生词,陈述完后,电脑屏幕同时展示三幅图) we are going have a sports day next month. i can run fast, so i’m going to run the 100 metres; i can jump far, i’m going to do the long jump, and i can jump high, so i’m going to do the high jump.

  (板书:教师表达自己计划的同时,边说边在句子“i’m going to   .”后逐一呈现生词(图文卡片):run the100 metres、long jump、 high jump)

  【设计意图:教师用学过的句子“i’m going to…” 引出新单词,以旧带新,由浅入深,循序渐进,学生易于接受。让学生在句子中学习单词,词不离句。借助课件呈现生词,集中注意力的同时帮助学生直观理解词义。】

  2、生词的操练

  (1)机械操练:

  从板书上摘下词条,教师手持词条,逐一教学单词。采用模仿动作、声音高低变化等形式,由面到点的进行全班、小组、个别的操练。

  【设计意图:tpr全身反应教学法,帮助学生直观地、生动的理解与学习生词,避免了机械操练的枯燥。符合小学生好动、乐于模仿的年龄特征。】

  (2)游戏教学:

  听说练习---〈listen and do>规则: 老师说词语,学生做动作---老师做动作,学生说词语---学生a做动作,全班说词语。(课件逐个展示各运动项目。)

  认读练习---<do it quickly>准备生词卡片,规则:请学生a上到讲台,教师站在该生后面,手持单词卡片,由全班同学说出这个词语,学生a立即做动作,做对了即可获得奖励。

  教师引导学生也用这个句子说说自己打算要参加的项目。

  词句整体练习---chant.(唱读板书词句,“/”为节奏分隔符号)

  (1)新句呈现

  t:i’m going to run the 100 metres, and i want to know “what are you going to do for sports day? (教师拿这该句子词条,提问1--2个学生,引导学生答,以此帮助学生理解问句的意思。)

  (2)问句的机械操练

  将长句“what are you going to do for sports day?”贴到板书处,拆分长句进行机械操练,采取高低声变化,手指迅速认读形式。(由面到点练习)

  (3)问答替换练习

  用板书上的生词进行问答替换,随后教师做一两个动作让学生替换。

  (4)pair-work. (教师先与一名学生示范,随后俩俩对话。)

  (5)检测。(开火车形式)

  一年级学生刚从幼儿园小朋友的身份转变为小学生的身份,原本玩玩乐乐的英语成了必须要学的科目,一堂课时间也变成了35分钟那么漫长,对于他们来说,这需要一个适应过程。因此我从学生的年龄特点和兴趣出发,以游戏和大量的活动教学,给学生充分的活动空间,进行交流。同时这个时候的他们处于一个似懂非懂的阶段,他们调皮,但又有自己的想法。因此给予适当的肯定和表扬。整个课的环节我认为衔接的还是比较自然和流畅,基本达到所设计的教学目标,整堂课的过程,还是挺吸引学生的。应用直观材料,参与教学,优美动听的音乐、形式多变的表演、鲜艳活泼的画面,和生动形象的动画,都使课堂成为了孩子们的学习的乐园。在浓厚的兴趣下将所学的英语对话和歌曲表演的生动有趣。学习英语的目的在于交际运用,这节课中的give me ____.学生还可以充分发挥,如:give me your book,please. 一年级的学生进小学两个月还不到,让他们在游戏中不知不觉地学习,会使他们感觉到学习是一种乐趣。但学生在说和操练时涉及的面不够广,我今后还要再加入一些课外的东西,应该设计些分层练习,让各个层次阶段的学生都能有所提高和进步,而不只是针对较好同学,应该以学生为主,关注全体学生。
