  2. abilities: develop the students’ ability of working in groups and the ability of using these numbers and sentences in oral communication.

  3. emotion: develop students’ interests, self-confidence and positive attitude towards learning english.

  key- point: to master these numbers.

  difficult point:  count from one to one hundred.

  teaching method: 1. “create real situation” teaching method

  teaching procedure:

  step one: warm-up

  1. sing a song“ten little indian boys”

  2. free talk

  step two: induction

  tell the story about harry potter:

  harry potter has experienced each kind of test, and he has become the fourth grade outstanding student of the magic school. but tested has not finished, harry potter encounters a difficulty. harry potter and his friends enter the time magic castle by mistake. they can’t move by the magic setting. can you help them?

  step three: complete the first task――counting the students

  1. present the picture of some children:

  look! harry potter and his friends are in the castle now.

  how many students can you see? have a count.

  2. review the numbers 1-20.

  3. learn to say the numbers 21-29.

  (1)count from 1 to 29.

  (2)count from 29 to 1.

  (3)say the number before/after.

  (4)ask and answer:

  how many boys are there in the classroom?

  how many girls are there in the classroom?

  how many teachers are there in the classroom?

  4.summary the rule:十位数数词构成:整十位数数词后加个位数词,中间用连字符号“-”连接。

  5. consolidation: the teacher says one number, the students say the next number.

  step four: complete the second task――doing some puzzles

  一、教学目标

  教师出示两个车牌号和两个电话号码,看哪个学生说的又快又准,给该组加星。

  step 3 presentation and practice.

  1. 复习数词1-20。

  师出示数词卡片,指导学生认读1-10的数词。认读数词13-19,把13-19与3-9对应起来,总结构词方法,在有关的个位数词词尾加_teen .

  2.学习整十位数。

  a. 由say the number after 19 引出数词twenty .并出示在two的一边。

  由what’s ten plus twenty ?引出thirty并写在three的旁边。

  b.同法引出forty ,fifty .并引导学生找出规律,说出sixty ,seventy ,eighty ,ninety . 20―90的构成方法:在有关的个位数词词尾加-ty .

  3.学习其他十位数词的构成方法。

  师出示21,师板书21=20+1,示范twenty-one  ,学生寻找规律,并模仿迅速说出一些数词. 54, 38, 69 , 72 ….

  step 4 consolidation

  1. game: count from one to one hundred .don’t say the multiples of “3”,say“hello”.

  2. listen and draw.

  指导学生每人画两个钟,请学生齐问“what’s the time, please?”,教师报出时间,学生根据所听时间,在钟上表示出来。

  step 6  ask and answer

  1. 通过上文的时钟自然引出part c中的四个钟,请学生利用“what’s the time, please? it’s …”进行问答。在学生回答完时间后,引导学生根据画面内容用it’s time to …的句型作补充回答,进行自编对话。

  1、实物:投影片,图片,自制的钟,录音机,磁带。

  《4a unit7 it’s late》案例分析

  一、创设良好的英语环境,调动学生学习积极性

  顾老师是借班上课的,为了更好的与学生交流,顾老师请学生在课前把名字写在纸上,上课时,把名字贴在胸口。这样一来,上课时,老师能准确说出学生的名字,更好的师生互动。上课前,老师和学生就进行日常用语交际。创设了良好的英语氛围。

  上一节课学过了数字1―10,老师在复习这些数字时,没有做枯燥的操练,而是先让学生数一数,然后把这几个英语单词补充完整。在纸上独立完成,再集体交流。

  二、教学方式多样化,课堂气氛活跃

  在新授10-100的数字时,顾老师注意使用多种教学方法,激发学生学习兴趣,并积极参与到教学活动中,教学效果好。

  1.出示卡通数字,让学生猜。

  新授数字10―100时,老师没有直接出示英语单词或简单的数字,而是出示向卡通一样的数字,很可爱,又漂亮,但形状像数字,然后师生一起学习,更有利于学生牢固掌握。

  2.相同音素的单词一起教授。

  教thirty时,老师并没有特意强调ir在单词中的发音,而是利用其它具有相同音素的单词,让学生读,领悟其中的相同之处。这样,既复习了旧知识,又巩固了新知识,并让学生学会归类学习。

  3.引用加法,新授单词

  在教forty(40)时,老师没有直接教这个单词,而是创设了一个情景:去kfc购物,a购买了30元,b购买了10元,问一共是多少?学生回答40(forty),再结合其它for, horse等,巩固forty的发音。

  4.单词分类教学

  新授了许多数字后,教师出示一系列单词:thirteen, thirty, fourteen, forty, fifteen, fifty…让学生总结规律,然后教师总结,使学生根据数字的拼写规律,记忆单词,以便学生更好的掌握。

  三、理论联系实际,提高学生英语综合能力

  新授完词汇后,顾老师把所学内容与生活实际相结合,让学生更好的掌握了所学大内容,并学会了应用。

  1.猜价格

  学完了数字后,老师设计了一个游戏,出示各种物品,让学生来猜猜价格,大家都积极的思考,说出自己的看法,及时巩固了数字的教学。

  2.说时间

  时间表达的其中一种方法是说出几点几分,老师先示范,然后请学生总结非整点时间的表达方式,再进行小组比赛。每小组再30秒内说出6个时间,时间一到,钟就会发出爆炸声。大家都积极思考,争取在有限的时间内正确说出时间。课堂气氛非常活跃,每一个同学都参与到了教学活动中,真正体现了以教师为主导,学生为主体的教学模式。

  3.介绍自己的生活时间表

  学会表达时间后,老师先介绍了自己的生活作息时间表,然后,请学生模仿介绍各自的作息时间。让学生学会运用所学的内容,真正学以致用。

  4.渗透德育教育

  学会了数字表达时间后,老师注意结合所学的内容,渗透德育教育,教学生“一寸光阴,一寸金,寸金难买寸光阴”的英语表达方式:time is gold, money can not buy time. 使学生懂得要珍惜现在的时间,好好学习。
