  一.  teaching contents

  the first period of unit 8 , 4a, fun with english ( part b&c)

  二.  teaching aims:

  1.four skills: eat , drink , write, read, close, open. stand up. sit down.

  2.three skills: copy , draw.

  3.初步感知ea在单词中的发音/ i:/

  4.会使用祈使句: … , please. /don’t … , please.

  三.  teaching important points

  1.1. four skills: eat , drink , write, read, close, open.

  2.能在日常生活情境中下确使用各种祈使句.

  四.  teaching aids

  the pictures of words, some presents.

  五.  teaching steps

  a. warm up

  1. greeting

  t: the bell is ringing. the teacher is coming. please be quiet and class is begin.i’m kitty. (show ‘hello kitty’) if you say: “hello , kitty , i love you!” i will give you a hello kitty.

  ( 借班上课,先要和学生消除陌生感,利用学生对于hello kitty的好感,自然而然能让学生迅速记住今天的老师,极时融入今天的课堂中去.)

  b. presentation

  1. let’s do.

  t: stand up, please. sit down, please. show me your … . open /close…,please.

  ss try to say and do by theirselves.

  2. teach: open, close, drink, eat, read ,write.

  (1) t: it’s winter now . the wind is blowing ‘hoo, hoo’. it’s very cold outside. i’m cold . can you close the door /window for me?  (learn : close)

  (2) t: it’s too cold . let’s do some exercise. jump 20 times. jump 20 times quickly. (调节跳跃的节奏,以来调节课堂气氛) i’m so hot now . can you open the door / window for you?(learn: open)  i still feel hot . i need a fan.

  (3) say a rhyme: <make a fan for me >

  ‘ draw a shape, cut the paper, draw a picture, cut a stick, use it , i like my fan.’

  (4) t: oh, thanks your fans. i feel better now . but i feel thirsty now.

  ss: have some jucie/tea/water/milk.

  t: after sports, it’s better to drink some water. it is good for your health.( teach :drink) 

  (5) (teach eat 同上) show some words: eat , sea , seat, read.

  ss try to read out these words. t can use letter ‘e’ to help ss remember ea/ i:/

  t: who can read these words? (learn: read)

  t: i can write ‘abc’, can you write ‘ abc’ (learn: write)

  (利用手指空书来与学生比赛,可以在此让学生深刻记忆write的意义,又可借机背写此课学过的单词)

  3. (1)show two sentence:

  copy , copybook, copy the word in your copybook.

  draw , picture, don’t draw the picture in your copybool.

  ( 利用 copybook引导学生自学copy. 用比较上品的chant, 让学生最快的时间内能让读这两句话)

  (2) complete: draw … for me , please. /don’t… for me , please.

  (利用动作让学生猜测意思,然后用句式来把意思表达出来)

  c. consolidation

  1. play : what’s the missing?

  2. play: stone-scissors-paper

  (谁获胜就可得奖品,谁输了,只要回答对一题亦可获奖品.)

  3. open books, finish part c

  d. homework

  【研究课题】:新课程理念指导下中年段英语课堂教学有效性的研究

  一、teaching content:

  the first period of unit8《in class》,book4a of oxford english. in this unit, the students will learn the two structures“…,please.”and“don’t …,please.” the students will learn how to ask someone to do something or not to do something. and also, the teacher will develop their polite manner in public places.

  二、teaching aims:

  1、knowledge aims:

  a. enable the ss to learn the new words: eat, drink, read, write.

  b. enable the ss to learn the new structures: “…,please.”and“don’t …,please.”

  c. learn the imperative and its negative form.

  2、skill aims

  a. enable the ss to how to ask someone to do something or not to do something.

  b. train their communication abilities in real situation.

  3、emotion aims

  to be polite in public places

  三、difficult points:

  the pronunciation of the words: sit, stand, eat, drink, read, write.

  the structures: don’t …,please.   all right.

  the negative of imperative

  四、the ideas of teaching design:

  1.to learn the language in a real situation.

  2.to develop the ss’ language skills ,confidence in learning and cognitive  abilities, as well as cooperative spirit.

  五、teaching procedures:

  step1 greeting

  t: how are you?

  s: fine, thank you. and you?

  t: i’m fine, too.

  let’s do some exercise.

  t and ss: do some actions together.(run, jump)

  “i can run. run, run, run.”

  “i can jump. jump, jump, jump”

  (设计意图:建立英语学习氛围,激发学生学习热情,让他们尽快地投入到英语课堂中来)

  step2 while-task procedure

  1.learn the words: sit, stand

  t: after some exercise, are you tired?

  have a rest. sit down, please.

  ppt: six→sit( show it with a picture on ppt)

  ss: say it in a rhyme.

  bd: sit

  (设计意图:有six的读音引入到sit的读音,便于学生朗读和记忆,绕口令来强化sit的读音,同时也能巩固句型:sit down, please.

  t: now, group one/two/three/four ,stand up, please.

  say the rhyme, please.

  four groups have a match in reading. which group is the best one?

  learn the word: stand (bd)

  play a game: simon says, “stand up”/ “sit down”
